This is a remix of Boergy’s Opel Adam keycap, redesigned to feature a more prominent and clearly defined Lock and Unlock symbol. The updated design improves visibility and gives the keycap a sharper, more distinctive look while maintaining compatibility with the original fit and function.

Print Settings

• Material: I used PLA

• Orientation: Print with the symbol facing directly on the build plate. This ensures a clean surface finish on the visible side and keeps the symbol crisp and well-defined.

• Supports: Supports are required and should be set to “On Build Plate Only.” I used this setting to help prevent the cap from popping off the build plate during printing and causing failed prints.

• Infill: Printed at 100% infill for maximum strength and durability, ensuring the keycap can withstand repeated use.

A fine layer height is recommended to maintain sharp symbol details, and proper bed levelling will help achieve the best surface finish.

Compatibility

I have only tested this keycap on the Vauxhall Adam Key. If you try it on other models and it fits successfully, please leave a comment and let me know. I’ll update the description with confirmed compatible models.
