🧲 This isn’t just a box with magnets.
The two 10x3mm magnets both lock the lid and act as a hinge.
One magnet becomes the pivot.
You can flick it open. It stays attached.
Swing it the other way. Same result.
No printed hinge.
No pins.
Just magnets doing double duty.
📦 Customizable
Generate:
- The box
- The lid separately
Keep the same diameter. Only adjust the height to create different depths.
Tip (important): If the generator fails, resize in smaller steps—especially when making it smaller. Try changing dimensions in 5–10mm increments and retry. Scaling up usually works fine.
If you don’t want to customize, use the included 32x52mm print profile (the version shown in the pictures)
🔩 Assembly (Super Simple)
- Insert one magnet in the lid
- Insert one magnet in the box
- Make sure they attract (check polarity)
- Do one side first
For the second magnet, follow the assembly video to avoid polarity mistakes
