Built around filament hinges designed for 1.75mm filament, the side panels fold smoothly for quick deployment and compact storage. When folded, the stand collapses down to a slim 17 × 80 × 105 mm, making it easy to toss in a bag, keep in a deck box, or store in a drawer.

To lock everything together while in use, the design includes a 3D-printed pin that slides into the hinge and helps keep the stand secure when deployed.
