The Perfect-Fit Parametric Over-the-Door Hook

I built this because "close enough" isn't good enough for 3D printing. Tired of hooks that angle downward or slip? Use the MakerWorld Customizer to generate a profile that matches your door’s geometry perfectly. I’ve included common presets for 20mm, 26mm, 36mm, and 45mm to get you started.

Customization and Printing Guide

1. Go to the MakerWorld and find the model.

2. Select “Customize”. 
    

   

3. When present with the pop-up, select the model and select “Customize”. 
    

   

4. Customize the design using the parameters on the bottom left. Press the “Generate” button to preview your design.
    

   

5. Once you are happy with the design select Download on the top right corner and download the design as a .3mf file. 5. Open the .3mf file in Bambu Studio.

Suggested Slicer Settings

• Quality > Only one wall on first layer : Selected
• Strength > Wall loops: 4
• Strength > Sparse infill density: 20%
• Strength > Sparse infill pattern: Gyroid
