I added a version with greater resistance of the spread comb. Now in the unfolded form it holds its position better. I have changed the way of changing the color. Now, to change the color of individual elements, it is best to do it via the object/change filament tab. Thanks to this, the skull prints better and the hair color does not show through the eye sockets.

A Hidden Comb Inside a Stylish Skull

I wanted to create a comb with character, and that’s how this stylish skull design was born, hiding a foldable comb inside.

Instructions

After printing, carefully remove all supports and brim from the model.
Then assemble the mechanism as shown in the photo and place the skull on top to check if everything fits properly.

If everything aligns correctly, apply glue to the indicated areas and firmly press the skull into place.

The comb extends by sliding the tip of the beard.
When fully extended, the comb should lock into position.

Do not extend the comb until the glue has fully cured.
The locking mechanism works by creating outward pressure between two parts, and at the beginning this tension may cause the halves to separate if the glue has not fully bonded.
