🐦 Modular Bird Feeding System – Mix, Match & Create Your Perfect Setup!
Create your own custom bird feeder with this fully modular feeding system designed for outdoor use! All elements are compatible with each other, so you can easily combine them to build the perfect setup for your garden or balcony.
🔹 Available Modules
- Suet ball holder module
- Seed container module
- 4-perch connector
- Bottom seed tray
- Roof
- Hanging hook
- Small ring attachment (for rope or cord)
You can print it with minimal supports – I optimized the design to reduce them as much as possible. Some overhangs may not be perfectly smooth, but since this feeder is designed for outdoor use, it shouldn’t be an issue.
If you prefer a flawless finish, feel free to add extra supports.
🧵 Printing Recommendations
⚠️ PLA is strongly discouraged for outdoor use.
I printed mine in ABS, and PETG should also be durable enough for weather resistance.
📦 Print Profiles Included
I created two convenient “All-in” print profiles:
- One for the suet ball version
- One for the seed container version
These profiles include the perch connector, hook, and hanging ring.
If you’d like to add modules, each part is also available separately for maximum flexibility.
