Here is my go at having my tool box organized. this is the single socket holder version that uses ¼ aluminum rod from home depot that you cut to what ever length you want. make quick on the go sets or 3ft long sets. the option is yours to choose. 

These single holder pieces can be mixed and matched to have any socket drive size on a single set so no having to have multiple organizers and can keep full sets togeather.

May need to scale up or down by 1% depending on your printer and material. i used PLA and have been over a year with no issues.
