How it works:

• Within the first nudge: Melee (1 square = 1")
• Within the second nudge: Very Close (3 squares = 3")
• Within the third nudge: Close (6 squares = 6")
• Within the full length of the stick (final nudge): Far  (12 squares = 12")
• Beyond the full stick: Very Far
• Off the battlemap: Out of Range
