🦟 Mosquito Net Replacement Hook

Optimized for Strength & Easy Printing

I designed this hook because the original ones that came with my new mosquito net were too fragile and snapped during installation. If you have a standard mosquito net with a 50mm plate and you're tired of flimsy plastic parts, this is the fix you need.

🛠 Hardware Needed

• Screws: Designed for 3.5mm diameter countersunk wood screws (viti per legno a testa svasata diametro 3,5). The hole geometry is optimized to allow the screw head to sit flush with the surface.

Why this design?

• Reinforced Geometry: Unlike the stock hooks, I’ve optimized the thickness to handle the tension of the net.
• Bambu Lab Ready: Tested on my Bambu P2S with excellent results.
• PETG Optimized: I highly recommend using PETG or PETG HF for its flexibility and weather resistance.

Recommended Print Settings:

• Material: PETG (Better durability than PLA).
• Walls: 4 to 6 (This is where the strength comes from!).
• Top/Bottom Layers: 3 or 4 (around 0.6mm - 0.8mm total thickness).
• Supports: Enabled (I suggest using them to ensure the screw seat and the overhangs are printed perfectly).
