This is a simple and strong case designed to hold a retainer. Features plenty of ventilation, but not too much to be gross and let stuff inside. Hardware-free design with a sturdy snap-fit hinge and featuring a simple and secure locking mechanism to keep the lid in place. With all the prototypes I've tested the tolerances with both non-matte pla and pet-g versions for the hinges and locking lugs were perfect on my end so hopefully it'll be the same for you :) Can be easily disassembled for cleaning.
Designed to be printed with PETG for increased toughness over pla, better layer adhesion as well as longer life of the springs for the locking mechanism. Also, for hygiene reasons, as PETG will produce a part that is more water-tight and have fewer gaps for bacteria to get into between the layer lines ideally. I really don't, under any circumstance, recommend printing this out of matte-pla especially. That would be very gross, the surface is too rough. You could probably get away with making this out of some sort of pro pla or pla plus printed slowly at higher temps, but I just recommend PETG for stuff like this always :)
