Want a Jazz 3 but thinner? No problem! 

Maybe a weirdly round pick with a point? Sure! 

A pick of destiny? Well maybe not. The horns wouldn't be very comfortable anyway.

While 3d printed guitar picks may not last as long as injection molded ones, they are significantly cheaper. 

Personally I like to try to recreate picks I've found in shops and online, and see if they work for me before buying them.

3d printed picks start out a bit scratchy sounding as the string glides over the layer lines, but this soon goes away as the pick wears in. You can expedite the process with some sand paper.

To make the infill middle you have to remove all top and bottom layers in the slicer. I've uploaded a print profile with the settings for it. Just download your design, download the print profile and open it. Then just add your own guitar pick, remove the default one, and print! You can experiment with different infills, and wall counts. I would highly suggest that you reduce the text depth to 0.01mm to effectively remove the text when doing this, as it messes with the infill pattern.

UPDATE 28/05/2026: Fixed a bug where the tip radius was added to the length of the pick, making the picks generated longer by usually 1-2mm.

*As long as it desires a guitar pick. With no weird features, like a fish tail, or a horn... Though that does actually sound quite cool.
