FlexDeck – Parametric Boulder-Style Deck Box

FlexDeck is a 3D printable deck box originally designed for Magic: The Gathering, inspired by the clean and minimal design of Boulder cases by Ultimate Guard — with one major difference:
it is fully parametric.

Designed in Autodesk Fusion, FlexDeck allows you to easily adapt the box dimensions to fit your deck by modifying just three parameters.

FlexDeck was created for Magic: The Gathering cards, but thanks to its parametric structure it can be adjusted to fit virtually any card game.

Simply set the desired dimensions directly in the model parameters.

🔹 Structural limitation:
The minimum box depth is 35 mm, ensuring proper strength, stability, and reliable lid closure.

🔧 Adjustable Parameters

FlexDeck is controlled by three main parameters:

• Width
• Depth
• Height

By adjusting these values, you can configure the box for:

• 60-card decks
• 75-card decks with sideboard
• 100-card Commander decks
• Sleeved or double-sleeved decks
• Other card games with different dimensions

Final dimensions depend entirely on the values you set in the file.

🎨 FlexDeck is a blank canvas

FlexDeck is intentionally designed as a blank canvas — clean, minimal surfaces ready to be customized.

Before printing, you can easily add:

• Text (deck name, format, nickname)
• Logos
• Symbols
• Custom icons

Directly in Bambu Studio using the built-in text emboss/deboss tool or by importing SVG files.

This allows you to create a unique deck box without modifying the CAD model.

⚠️ Important – Bambu Customizer STL Instructions

If you download the STL generated by the Bambu Customizer:

1. Import the STL into Bambu Studio
2. Right-click the model and select “Split into objects”
3. Select all parts
4. Click “Auto Orient” before slicing
5. Then proceed with slicing and printing

This ensures that the box and lid are correctly positioned for optimal printing.

📏 MTG Card Reference Dimensions

• Standard card: ~63 × 88 mm
• Sleeved: ~66 × 91 mm
• Double sleeved: ~67–68 × 92 mm

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings (PLA)

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 15–20%
• 3 perimeters
• No supports required
• Print box and lid separately

You may need to slightly adjust dimensions depending on your printer calibration to achieve a perfect friction fit.
