Clamp Wall Spool Holder

This spring-loaded wall-mounted spool holder is designed to securely hold standard 1 kg filament spools while allowing smooth and controlled rotation.

The triple Grip Arm system provides strong radial clamping force, while the integrated axial bearing and brake mechanism prevent unwanted free-spinning. This ensures clean filament feeding without spool overrun.

Hardware Required

• 2× F688-2RS Bearings
• 1× F8-22M Axial Bearing
• 1× 6 mm Steel Ball
• 4× 20 × 6 × 0.6 mm Springs
• 1× M8 × 90 mm Bolt
• 1× M8 Grip Nut
• TPU  is used for the grip inserts.

Print Settings

• Material: PLA / ABS / ASA recommended
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 40%
• Walls: 4 perimeters
• Supports: Not required

Assembly Notes

• Do not use TPU for the locking filament pin.
• Ensure the wall mount is securely fixed to a solid surface.
• Use proper wall plugs depending on your wall type.
• Use a thin card to hold the brake ball in place during final assembly.
