BattleShots
Everything you need for your new favorite party game is included in this carefully developed set. Each side will need one each of the 5-shot flagship, 4-shot battleship, 3-shot submarine, 3-shot cruiser, and 2-shot destroyer. These pieces fit securely on the included printable grid, or you can draw your own using the included stencil (an 8x8 grid fits perfectly on a Domino's large pizza box). Also included are small marker grids for keeping track of which spaces you've already called and special pegs that fit in that grid. If you don't care about colors, each side will only take about half a roll of filament!

Ships
The 5-shot flagship is the largest ship on the board. Measuring nearly 10 inches long, it's loosely based on Titanic aesthetics with 5 tall, equal-height stacks to command your fleet.
The 4-shot battleship features 4 stacks of different heights to give an interesting visual element to the board.
The 3-shot submarine is the most unique of the ships. It sits low on the board to give an impression that it lurks below waiting for the opportunity to strike.
The 3-shot cruiser is the smaller, more versatile version of the flagship. 3 equal-height stacks on a directional body distinguish it from its larger cousin.
The 2-shot destroyer slopes downward toward the back, and its stacks' heights are staggered to match.
All color painting was done with the layer tool and there is no prime tower for any of the ships. By printing infill first on each layer, this minimizes filament waste from color changing without sacrificing quality. It also means that the ships can be printed multicolor even without an AMS! Simply put in pauses at color-change layers and manually change filament if you don't have an AMS. I've included several color combinations that I think look good for each ship, but you can mix and match to customize or make each ship on each side the same color(s) to fire up the team spirit!
Each ship is designed to hold the proper number of shot glasses. They might fit standard glass shot glasses, but they're specifically designed around a tight fit for this pack that I got at Walmart for around $2.

Grids
There are 2 options for grids. The main choice is a 4-piece lattice with tabs on the connection points that snap together in a very satisfying way. Row letters and column numbers are included on the left and top sides. The notches in the bottom of each ship fit perfectly onto this grid and make sure everything is lined up. It also makes it harder to knock the ships over if you're clumsy like me. Through many iterations, I was able to design a profile that gets excellent results every time. Brims around the row/column labels and connection pegs prevent them from warping, and a decreased speed on the small parts makes sure they stay steady to print perfectly every time. The other option is a single 4x4 grid stencil. The squares of this grid are the same size, so you can leave your main grids at home when you go to a party and draw a grid on any surface for ultimate portability! While doing research for this project, I found that a Domino's large pizza box (readily available at most parties) is the perfect size to draw an 8x8 grid on.
Shot Marker Boards
A pencil and paper do the trick fine, but for a more tactile experience to track your shots during the game, I've created small grids that you can put pegs in. To make things more interesting, the pegs are designed to look like miniature bottles; unfortunately, at the small size in the default profile, a lot of that detail is lost. I've created alternate profiles for larger shot marker boards, so if you want the ultimate BattleShots set, you can print the larger profiles. For ultimate detail, use the 0.2 nozzle profile and really make the caps pop. Like the grids, I did a lot of iteration on the pegs and slowed the speeds down to make sure they fit cleanly into the holes in the boards and print perfectly every time.
Printing List
For a complete BattleShots set, you will need:
2 x 5-Shot Flagship Plate
2 x 4-Shot Battleship Plate
2 x 3-Shot Submarine Plate
2 x 3-Shot Cruiser Plate
2 x 2-Shot Destroyer Plate
2 x Grid Top Left Plate
2 x Grid Top Right Plate
2 x Grid Bottom Left Plate
2 x Grid Bottom Right Plate
OR
1 x 2 inch Grid Stencil for Cardboard Play Plate
1 x Shot Marker Plate
1 x Red Pegs Plate
1 x White Pegs Plate
OR
From the Larger Grid Markers Profiles,
2 x Shot Marker Plate
1 x Red Pegs Plate
1 x White Pegs Plate
The Shot Marker Plate from the 0.4 profile is compatible with the pegs from the 0.2 profile, so my recommendation is to print the Shot Markers with the larger nozzle to improve speed and the pegs with the 0.2 profile to really look nice.
