🧰 Pocket Multi-Tool Keychain

A full everyday multi-tool that fits on your keychain.
Pocket Multi-Tool Keychain is a compact and multifunctional EDC (Everyday Carry) accessory designed to provide useful tools in a pocket-sized format, small enough to fit on your keychain. The design combines simplicity, functionality, and easy 3D printing, making it ideal both as an everyday gadget and as a practical maker project.

Final dimensions: 68 mm × 26 mm

Main Features

• Blade slot compatible with standard 9 mm blades
• Bit holder for short 6.3 mm screwdriver bits
• Integrated Shopping cart coin with dimensions equivalent to a 1€ coin (≈ 23 mm × 2.3 mm)
• Key ring attachment point for quick carry
   

Assembly Guide

Follow the steps shown in the illustrations.

Blade installation

Insert the 9 mm blade into the dedicated slot, aligning the hole with the pivot pin.
Then place the upper locking component to secure the blade in position.

⚠️ The blade length must be shortened (approximately 4 segments outside the slot).
 

Bit assembly

Insert the short screwdriver bit (6.3 mm) into the bit holder.
Fix the bit holder into the base using the rotation pin.

Blade module assembly

Insert the blade module into the main body following the side guides.

Closing

Place the top cover, aligning the snap-fit points, and slide the mechanism to check proper operation.
⚠️The movement may feel stiff during the first uses.

⚠️ For increased strength, a few drops of cyanoacrylate glue can be added to the contact points.
Note: this will make the blade non-replaceable.

Coin insertion and Finish!

Finish by inserting the shopping cart coin (1€ coin size) into the upper slot.

The tool is now ready to use: you can extract the screwdriver bit by rotating the module.
⚠️ The movement may still feel slightly stiff at first; after a few openings it will become smoother.
