🔥 Overview

This is a modular 3D printable traffic light system designed to be infinitely stackable.

Each module connects easily to the next using integrated connectors, allowing you to build:

  • Classic 3-light traffic signals
  • Custom signal stacks
  • Formula 1 start light towers
  • Event countdown systems
  • Educational or Arduino projects

This is Version 1, and we welcome feedback to improve future updates.

📦 Model Includes

Each module consists of:

  • 1× Main Body
  • 1× Front Cover (glued in place)
  • 1× Rear Cover (screwed)
  • Integrated stacking connectors

🔌 Electronics & Control

The model is designed to house electronics in the bottom compartment.

Recommended control options:

Option 1 – Arduino Nano (Recommended)

  • Compact
  • Easy to program
  • Perfect for F1 start sequence simulations
  • Can control multiple stacked modules

Option 2 – ATtiny85

  • Minimalist setup
  • Ideal for simple on/off or timed sequences

Option 3 – ESP32

  • For WiFi control

Power supply suggestion:

  • 5V via USB
  • 4× AA battery pack
  • External DC adapter

💡 LEDs

  • Standard 5mm LEDs recommended
  • LED holders are integrated in the print
  • Wires run vertically through the center channel

For stronger color effect:

  • Insert colored translucent paper or film behind the front opening.

🛠 Assembly Instructions

  1. Print all parts.
  2. Insert LEDs into holders.
  3. Route wiring through the central channel.
  4. Install electronics in the bottom compartment.
  5. Close the rear cover with screws.
  6. Glue the front cover in place.
  7. Stack additional modules as needed.

  • Infill: 15–20%
  • Walls: 3 perimeters
  • Supports: Not required
  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm

Print orientation:
