This chess set is fully customizable. The set pictured was made to feature school teams and their mascots. The disc can be customized with your text or designs. The heads of the chess pieces are made to snap on and off of the pieces. This way, you can change which team or mascot is the king, queen, pawn, etc. 

There are many reasons to customize the chess set, the pieces can be made with family initials, team names, mascots, characters, or anything you can think of.  The model includes 4 print plates. The chess piece base is needed for each chess piece. The inner ring is inserted into the base. The discs are customizable. After the inner ring in placed into the chess piece base, 2 discs are snapped onto each inner ring. 

*NOTE: It is important that you insert the inner ring into the base FIRST. If you put the discs on first, the inner ring will not fit into the base.

Lastly, there is a plate for the tops. The tops are made to easily snap and and off the bases. 

I used dark and light gray marble filaments to make the chess pieces.
