🔧 Boiler Hatch Key – Custom 3D Printable Tool

This is a custom-designed key for opening boiler maintenance hatches equipped with a square locking mechanism.

The tool features a solid cylindrical handle for improved grip and torque control. The square male drive at the top ensures a secure and stable fit inside the hatch lock. The reinforced base structure increases strength and durability during use, making it suitable for repeated opening and closing operations.

The design is optimized for 3D printing, with smooth transitions between the cylindrical handle and the support base to improve structural integrity and reduce stress concentration.

🖨 Recommended Print Settings:

• Material: PETG or ABS recommended (PLA only for light-duty use)
• Infill: 70–100% for maximum strength
• Infill Pattern: Gyroid or Cubic for optimal multidirectional strength
• Walls: At least 4–6 perimeters
• Top/Bottom Layers: Minimum 6 layers
• Print Orientation: Vertical, to improve torque resistance

For heavy-duty use, 100% infill with Gyroid pattern is recommended.
