Snap Card Wallet

This wallet was designed with one goal in mind, pure simplicity. It comfortably holds around 7 cards, depending on card thickness, and features zero moving parts. The cards are secured by integrated snap hooks, carefully tuned to deliver a crisp, satisfying click every time you insert or remove a card.

The tactile feedback is surprisingly addictive. It has honestly become my go to fidget toy whenever I’m out.

About the 3D Print Model

The entire model is printed at an angle, eliminating the need for supports. This orientation also strengthens the snap hooks by aligning the layer lines for better structural performance.

A brim is required for printing. Light sanding may be needed to clean up minor edges left by the brim around the snap areas. I intentionally slowed down the print settings to ensure consistency and reliability. Doubling the print time for a clean, high quality result is absolutely worth it.

The model has been tested in both PLA and PETG. Personally, I prefer PLA for its finer surface finish. Although PLA is more brittle, it has not shown any durability issues with the snap hooks during testing.
