Vileda Handle Adapter for Generic 23mm Floor Tools

This adapter allows you to use a Vileda threaded handle with any generic floor tool (squeegees, scrapers, or brooms) that has a standard 23mm internal socket diameter.

The Problem Solved

Vileda handles use a proprietary "lofted" thread that won't fit standard threaded tools. This adapter acts as the perfect bridge—sliding into a 23mm metal socket and providing the internal threads necessary to securely screw in your Vileda broom or mop handle.

• External Diameter: 23mm (Designed for a snug fit in standard metal tool necks).
• Internal Thread: Optimized for Vileda "Lofted Thread" geometry.

Print Settings (Recommended for Strength)

Since cleaning tools experience significant lateral force, I recommend the following:

• Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS (Higher impact resistance than PLA).
• Wall Loops: 5-6 (This ensures the adapter is solid where the threads meet the outer wall).
• Infill: 50% Gyroid for maximum structural integrity.
• Orientation: Print standing up (vertical) for the cleanest thread definition.

Assembly

1. Insert the adapter into the 23mm socket of your tool head.
2. If your tool has a side screw (like the one in the photos), tighten it to bite into the adapter for a permanent fit.
3. Screw your Vileda handle in clockwise until tight.
