Summary
This is a set of pieces to play the abstract strategy board game called Amazons. The rules are simple: It is usually played on a 10x10 board but other sizes may be used. Each team has 4 amazons that move as chess queens. The initial placement of the amazons can be seen in the photos above. Each turn a player moves their amazon, then they place a marker which moves as a chess queen from the end position of the amazon's movement. This marker blocks all movement into or over that square. A piece is captured when it can no longer move. When all of one team's amazon's are captured they have lost the game.
You will need a total of 8 amazons, 4 per team color.
You will also need NxN - 8 markers to be able to play until a victory or stalemate. So for a 10x10 board you will need 100 - 8 = 92 markers to be able to play until a stalemate, 56 for an 8x8 board and so on.

I first heard about this game through Numberphile's YouTube channel: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjSOSeRZVNg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjSOSeRZVNg)
Its a great demonstration of how to play the game.

Notes:
I used 40% infill for the amazons so they're a little weightier, 10% for the markers cause you have to print a lot of them, no point using too much filament (they're mostly shell anyway).
