Why I Designed This
I originally created this spice rack because I needed a clean and efficient way to organize spices inside my kitchen cabinet. Most ready-made solutions either didn’t fit properly or I didn't like their design.
So instead of compromising, I designed my own — and since I was already modeling it in Fusion 360, I decided to make it fully parametric and customizable.
Now I’m sharing it here so everyone can adapt it perfectly to their own cabinet and spice collection.
Model Description
This spice rack is designed specifically for cabinet organization and to be mounted on the inside of the cabinet door, or on another flat surface in the kitchen. This helps maximize storage while keeping every jar visible and accessible.
The model is built entirely with parameters in Fusion 360, meaning nearly every important dimension can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Customizable Parameters Include:
- Overall width
- Depth (to fit your spice jars)
- Height
- Wall thickness
- Base thickness
- Screw hole placement and size
Because of the parametric setup, you can easily:
- Adapt it to narrow or wide cabinets
- Adjust for different spice jar sizes
- Scale the design without breaking geometry
- Make it fit your screw size
Important Notes About Parameters
This is a fully parametric model, but not every parameter combination will produce a valid or stable design.
The current default parameter values are chosen carefully to generate a stable and reliable model. Changing certain values too aggressively can weaken the structure. For example, making the base plate too thin can reduce stiffness and may cause it to bend downward under load.
Please pay attention to the width, depth and height parameters
The “Width” parameter determines the overall width of the whole model.
The “InnerDepth” parameter determines the inner Depth, so the distance between the inner walls, where the spice jars will sit. This needs to be roughly the diameter of your spice jar. The total model depth is calculated as: “InnerDepth + 2 * WallThickness”
The “Height” parameter determines the vertical distance from the plate surface to the upper edge of the rack.
The total model height is calculated as: “Height + PlateThickness”

File Versions Included
This download includes 4 different STL files with two design concepts:
1️⃣ Single-Part Version
One file contains the spice rack as one complete piece.
This version can be printed and mounted individually.
Please note:
The maximum width of this version is limited by your printer’s build volume.
This is ideal if:
- Your cabinet width fits within your printer’s build area
- You prefer a single, seamless part
2️⃣ Modular Version (Left / Middle / Right)
The other three files are designed as a modular system:
- Left Part
- Middle Part
- Right Part
These parts are designed to be mounted next to each other to form one continuous spice rack.
This allows you to:
- Create a rack longer than your printer’s build volume
- Build a spice rack as long as needed
Simply print:
- 1x Left
- 1x Right
- As many Middle pieces as required
Mount them side by side to create one long, seamless spice rack.
My First Major Published Model
This is my first larger model I’m publishing, and I’m really excited to share it with the community!
I’m very open to:
- Feedback
- Improvement ideas
- Feature suggestions
- Parametric additions
If you have ideas that could make this spice rack even better, let me know — I’d love to implement improvements in future updates.
Share Your Prints
I would be very happy to see photos of your printed spice racks in your kitchen!
If you build one, please consider:
- Uploading photos of your make
