Soft Flask Drying Rack - Compact Solution
I’m pretty particular about keeping my soft flasks clean and dry after long runs, but balancing them on random kitchen items (or stuffing them with paper towels) never felt like a great solution. So I designed a compact drying rack specifically for soft flasks like the Salomon 500ml and refillable GU gel packs.
The rack holds the flask open to promote proper airflow and faster drying, and it fully disassembles into a small, travel-friendly package that’s perfect for race weekends or trips. It’s easy to print, requires no hardware or glue, and snaps together securely when in use.
Parts and assembly :
- Main drying rack (Option for drainage holes
- Sliding top
- 2x top rods
- 2x extension rods
All the parts fit nicely into one another, with the rods screwing into the base and the extention rods. The sliding top, as the name sugests, slides into the main part and stays in place thanks to the small “lock” on it.
Printing :
- Print everything but the sliding top with a regular 0,2mm layers height profile (Gyroid infill)
- For the sliding top:
- 4 Walls
- 0 Top and Bottom
- 30% Grid infill
- 4x “Fill Multiline”
