Aperture Science 1500 Megawatt Super Colliding Super Button (Miniature)
Ever wanted your own tiny Aperture Science 1500 Megawatt Super Colliding Super Button to power on your device? Look no further!
This miniature version is designed around a single Cherry MX–compatible mechanical switch, giving you that satisfying click every time you press it.
Print Settings & Colors
Parts and colors:
- Base: Black
- Bezel: Grey
- Light Way Parts: White
- Button: Red
- Light Way Inserts & Bottom lid: Transparent (You can also print the bottom lid in black if you don’t want the underglow, but please try the transparent version first — it’s worth it.)
Additional Components Required
- 1× Cherry MX–compatible mechanical switch
- 1× LED strip (Max 10 mm wide)
- Wire for connections
Assembly Instructions
- Press-fit each bezel piece into its corresponding slot on the base (refer to images if needed).
- Glue each light way piece into its designated slot in the base.
- Snap your Cherry MX–compatible switch into the center opening.
- Slide the button onto the switch stem.
- You may need to slightly enlarge the wire hole to fit your wiring. I carefully widened mine using a drill.
- Insert your LED strip, wire everything up, and enjoy!
Example Use
I have mine connected to my PC as a custom power button — press it, and the system turns on.

There is enough internal space to fit an ESP32-C3, opening up possibilities for wireless control, IoT projects, custom macros, and much more.
