Descrição
I like to make bread myself and the bread containers on the market are too small/large and/or too closed/open.
The lid has small enough holes so that the bread does not turn to stone and large enough so that it does not turn to mush and get moldy. If you do not want the lid with holes, I have also included the exact same lid without the holes.
You will need 8 5x2mm round magnets, four glued in the box holes and four glued in the lid. Pay attention to the polarity of the magnets before gluing them in place. The box should be pretty strong so you can stack multiple on top of each other or to put something else on top.
The max bread dimensions that would comfortably fit in are 300mm x 150mm x 140mm (length x depth x height).
Multiple sizes are now available as separate print profiles. The available sizes (internal length by depth by height of the model) are:
- 320mm by 160mm by 160mm
- 320mm by 140mm by 140mm
- 320mm by 120mm by 120mm
- 240mm by 160mm by 160mm
- 240mm by 140mm by 140mm
- 240mm by 120mm by 120mm
- 240mm by 160mm by 80mm
If you want to copy and modify this model, here is the Onshape link.
Model has been parameterized, just that you have to keep in mind that the edges of the ridges on the bottom need to manually be added to the fillet if the length is adjusted.
Hope this helps someone other than myself.
If you find this useful and want to, please share a photo of the print (bread is a nice-to-have).
