The Quick Grip Clamp V2 is a revised version of the original Quick Grip Clamp, providing a much stronger bite force thanks to the improved compliant springs ridged structure and its 100% infill makings full use of the printed materials clamping properties.
Key Features
Updated Spring - No complex double leaf design allows for more plastic to be present in the spring with a (100% infill for the spring alone) and therefore increasing clamping force significantly.
Print In Place Articulated Jaws - Allows the clamp to bite down on any surface regardless of its shape (No teeth to better grip more surfaces and allows you to add your own foam tape as the grip).
Recessed Grips - Provides comfort and a provides more dexterity to users whilst using the clamp (Also: Prints Quicker).
Printing recommendations
(Note: The longevity of the print is dependent on the material you print with).
PLA - Works well from my testing but will not be as durable and may deform over time.
PETG & ABS - recommended thanks to their superior mechanical properties.
Assembly
- Cut a 20x20mm square of tape from the foam tape roll linked below (or your own grippy material)
- Fasten the square of material to the clamps jaws.
- Assembly Complete
