The doorstop is  7.5 cm tall, while the 5 cm wide cover plate cleanly hides the mounting screws for what I think is a cleaner look.

Note: Adding a felt pad to the front greatly improves performance by reducing noise, absorbing impact, and preventing marks on your doors
