Modelo 3D FF04MOD BLOCK I por Tacit no MakerWorld

Descrição

FF04MOD BLOCK I is a heavily modified, fully printable small form factor PC case inspired by the replicated FF04 design, redesigned to better support modern hardware, improve cable routing, and make real-world assembly and maintenance easier.

This whole project started because I wanted a small form factor case for my RTX 5070 Ti that simply didn’t exist, so I set out to build my ideal version.

The goal was to keep true SFF proportions while still fitting modern GPUs and components without turning the build into a cramped shoebox or forcing extreme compromises.

This release currently includes the mono-color version of the case. Parts can easily be painted after printing if you want a custom finish. If enough people are interested, I can also release pre-colored / painted .3mf versions later for easier multi-color printing.

The case is optimized for 3D printing, uses heat-set inserts for durability, and focuses on repeatable assembly so others can build it without guesswork. Features include:

• Sandwich layout optimized for SFF builds
• Support for modern triple-slot GPUs
• Cleaner internal cable routing
• Optional TURZX monitoring screen support
• Magnetized removable lid vent for airflow tuning
• Multiple build and configuration options

Everything shown in the guide was built and tested in a real system, including thermal and performance validation.

Important Print Profile Note

Due to MakerWorld upload limitations, the attached print profile must be listed as a generic Polymaker PLA profile rather than the actual filament used.

This case was NOT printed in standard PLA, and I do NOT recommend printing it in normal PLA.

The build was printed using Polymaker HT PLA-GF, which provides better dimensional stability and heat resistance for PC case use.

If you use the included profile, you should change the filament profile back to HT PLA-GF or another higher temperature, dimensionally stable material before printing.

Standard PLA may deform over time due to internal system heat.

The build guide itself is fairly long. I apologize in advance, but I wanted to be thorough and document the process clearly for anyone attempting the build. I am only human, so there may still be mistakes or areas that could be improved. My hope is simply that the guide saves others time and frustration.

The files and guide are released freely so others can build, remix, and improve on the design.

Credit and Permissions

This project would not exist without the original work by Qiyun, whose replicated FF04 case design inspired this build.

I have explicit permission from Qiyun to publish and share this modified version and build guide, and I want to make sure proper credit is given to the original designer.

You should absolutely check out Qiyun’s latest work:

He has also been teasing upcoming work toward an FF07 design aimed at supporting RTX 5090-class hardware, so his projects are worth following.

Huge thanks also goes to Boomer (@besskurz) for measurement help, shared files, testing assistance, and problem-solving collaboration throughout development.

Optional Features Supported

• Color accent versions
• Integrated TURZX monitoring screen support
• Removable vent mesh lid
• Alternate cable routing and hardware configurations

Final Notes

If you're comfortable assembling PCs and working with printed parts, this case is completely buildable using consumer printers and standard hardware.

Improvements, remixes, and lessons learned from future builders are absolutely encouraged.

If you build one, I’d love to see it.

Support the Project (Optional)

This project and guide are being released completely free. However, if you'd like to support future iterations, testing, and help fuel the caffeine addiction that powered this build, support is appreciated but never expected:

Totally optional, but appreciated.
