Pivot Mount for Ring Motion Sensor (Gen2)

• Single or Double Pivot options

This is a wall mount pivot mounting assembly I designed for Ring Motion Sensors (Gen 2).  I didn't want to use the double-sided tape to attach my motion sensors to the wall.  I wanted a more secure mount and professional look, so I made these pivot mounts.  Easy to adjust and quick screwless removal of the sensor.

For the Single Pivot you need:

(1) Base - printed

(1) Single Mount - printed

(2) Slide Tabs - printed

(2) #8 mounting screws (with anchors if you need)

(1) M5x20 Socket Head or Button Head Screw

(1) M5 Hex Nut

(2) M3x12 Button Head Screws

(2) M3 Hex Nuts

For the Double Pivot you need:

(1) Base - printed

(1) Double Link - printed

(1) Double Mount - printed

(2) Slide Tabs - printed

(2) #8 mounting screws (with anchors if you need)

(1) M5x20 Socket Head or Button Head Screw

(1) M5 Hex Nut

(2) M3x12 Button Head Screws

(2) M3 Hex Nuts

(1) M5x6 Heat Press Insert

(1) M5x12 Socket Head or Button Head Screw

If going with the double-pivot, the heat insert goes into the end of the Double Link.

Assemble per the pictures shown in the listing above.

Assembly Notes:

• The M5x20 screw and nut go into the base.  Leave it loose while you adjust the rotation.
• The M3 screws and nuts go on the back of the sensor with the Slide Tabs.
• Tighten the Slide Tabs until they slide snugly onto the Mount.
• The adjustments can be made and the M5 screws tightened with the sensor off then just slide it onto the mount.  If you need to make additional adjustments, just slide the sensor back off and adjust.
