Descrição
This OpenSCAD generator allows you to create a custom 3D printed box that fits your specific card deck perfectly.
- Custom Size: You define the card dimensions and the exact number of cards in your deck.
- Sliding Design: A classic two-part design (Tray + Sleeve) that stays closed with friction.
- Easy Access: Includes finger notches to easily grip and remove the inner tray.
- No Supports: Designed to print flat on the build plate without any support material.
How to Customize
You can use the MakerWorld Customizer or download the .scad file to change these settings:
1. Measure Your Cards
Measure your cards (with sleeves on) to get the best fit.
- Card Height: The length of the long side of the card.
- Card Width: The length of the short side.
- Single Card Thickness: The thickness of one card.
- Tip: Measure a stack of 10 cards and divide the result by 10 to get a precise number.
- Number of Cards: The total cards in your deck (e.g., 60, 100).
2. Adjust the Fit
- Wiggle: Extra space inside the tray. Keep at 0 for a snug fit, or add 0.5 mm if you want the cards to feel loose.
- Tolerance: The gap between the inner tray and the outer sleeve (changes the friction).
- Standard (0.23 mm): Good for well-tuned printers.
- Loose (0.30 mm +): Use this if your prints usually come out a bit thick or if the box is too hard to open.
