SPIN + STACK -Bookcase Edition

A Color-Spinning Balance Game

SPIN + STACK is a classic block-stacking tower game with a colorful twist. Players take turns spinning the wheel to choose a color, carefully sliding a matching block from the spinning tower, and placing it on top. One wrong move and the whole tower can tumble.

SPIN + STACK GAME COMPONENTS

• 54 rectangular Spin+Stack blocks (6 colors, 9 blocks per color)
• 6-Color Spinner
• Rotating Spin+Stack base (stand)
• Bookcase Edition Storage Box

ADDITION PARTS REQUIRED

Magnets: 3mm dia. x 2mm height, 26pc.

Bearings: 608ZZ (8x22x7mm), 2pc.

SPIN + STACK INFORMATION & ASSEMBLY

All parts were printed with PLA filament, matt or flat colored filaments work best on board games. I use a textured plate for adhesion. Some parts will need to be superglued.

a) BOOKCASE EDITION GAME BOX

The SPIN + STACK game includes a Bookcase Edition game box with a slide top. It can be conveniently stored on a shelf.

Print the game box, lid and book spine. Glue the book spine to the square cornered side of the bookcase box. A little bit of oil on the edges of the lid will help with the lid slide into the box top.

b) 6-COLOR SPINNER ASSEMBLY

1. Print the spinner top plate, spinner slide, bottom plate and all colored inserts.

2. Glue the 24 colored inserts into the recesses of the top plate.

3.  Glue twenty-four 3mm dia. x 2mm magnets into the underside of the spinner's top plate.

4. Glue two more 3mm dia. x 2mm magnets into the spinner's bottom plate.

Special Note: The top and bottom plate magnet poles should “attract” to each other.

5. Glue on the Spinner Slide over the magnets at the underside of the top plate. Holes towards the magnets.

6. Slide on a 608ZZ bearing (8x22x7mm) to the bottom plate stem.

7. Place the spinner top assembly on the bottom plate assembly.

8. Your spinner is ready to give it a spin.

NOTE: The spinner can be used without magnets and an optional PLA bearing but it may not spin and align as well.

c) ROTATING STAND

1. Print the Rotating Stand base and top sections.

2. Slide on a 608ZZ bearing (8x22x7mm) to the base section.

3. Place the top section over the base assembly.

4. Your Rotating Stand is ready to give it a turn.

NOTE: The Stand can be used with the optional PLA bearing but it may not spin and align as well.

NOTE: Optional bearing spacers may be added to the bearing hole of the Stand Top.
