I designed this modular tool/wrench holder to be fully parametric so you can easily adjust the opening width, height, depth, and even the angle to fit a variety of tools. It features a simple slide rail system on the back for mounting or combining multiple holders in a row. There are two parts provided, one is the modular holder itself, and the other is the end used to hide the dovetail.

I've included a print profile with three different sizes that work great out of the box. You can easily adjust the topOpening parameter to fit larger or smaller tools. For more advanced customisation, additional parameters are available if needed.

All the values are in mm.

 

Height, topOpening and angle are pretty self-explanatory.

 

depth is the depth of the opening from the top.

 

sliderClearance refers to the resistance encountered during sliding. If the default setting doesn't fit, you can adjust the value and print two parts and test it.

When separating the two parts, don't use too much force, as that might break the part. Try to wiggle it without adding too much stress to the part.
