🧵 Material Guide: PLA vs. TPU
You don't need flexible filament to get great protection!
- 🧱 PLA / PETG (Hard Shell Mode): Perfect for rounding off sharp dangerous corners. It acts as a hard helmet for your furniture corner. Great for protecting desks from chair bumps or vacuum cleaners. Recommendation: Use 3 walls for durability.
- ea TPU (Impact Mode): If you have flexible filament, this becomes a soft bumper perfect for toddlers and high-impact zones.
⚙️ Print Settings (A1 Mini Friendly)
- Supports: ⛔ NO. The model auto-rotates to print flat on its top face. (Only few exceptions).
- Plate Adhesion: The top face prints against the bed. If you use a Textured PEI plate, you get a beautiful, premium finish on the visible side.
- Infill: 10% Gyroid is enough. Focus on Wall Loops (3 or 4) for strength.

This is a High-Precision Parametric Model. To ensure a perfect fit and avoid wasting filament, please follow these steps in the Customizer:
- Test every slider: Some parameters (like Safety_Radius or Tape_Gap) interact with each other. Changing one might require adjusting another to keep the geometry clean, and the name does not represent in the majority of cases the action that the parametricModelMaker will perform, soy ensure trying all of them before exporting.
- Preview is your friend: If the render looks "broken" or weird, it's likely because a radius is too large for the size of the protector. Simply reduce the Safety_Radius or increase the Protector_Size.
