Remix: Bread Machine Gear — Print-in-Place Replacement

This is my remixed replacement gear (shown in orange) based on the original “Zahnrad für Brotmaschine Ritter E 061”model from Thingiverse (Thing:3517410). 

I redesigned the hub/center area and mounting features to better match my hardware and make the part easier to print and install, while keeping the overall gear form/fit intended for the machine. (Gear for Ritter food slicer / hameater / bread knife for markant 1, compact 1 , Nova 1 and other versions./ Zahnrad für Ritter Allesschneider / Schinkenmesser / Brotmesser für markant 1, compact 1 , Nova 1 und andere Versionen.)

What’s different in this remix

• Updated center bore / hub geometry for a cleaner fit (and easier alignment during assembly)
• Refined mounting holes layout/clearance for simpler fastening
• Print-friendly tweaks aimed at strength and reliability for FDM printing

Printing notes (recommended)

• Material: PETG or ABS/ASA for better heat and fatigue resistance (PLA/PLA+ can work but may wear/soften sooner)
• Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm
• Perimeters/Walls: 5–8
• Infill: 40–60% (gyroid or grid)
• Supports: None
• Orientation: Print flat on the bed (face down), so the teeth build cleanly

Post-processing & install tips

• Lightly deburr tooth edges and holes after printing
• If the gear runs against other plastic parts, a tiny amount of food-safe silicone grease can reduce noise/wear
• Before full use, do a quick hand-turn test to confirm smooth meshing and no binding
