This is a compact, satisfying fidget built around a standard Cherry MX–style mechanical keyboard switch (required), giving you that crisp, tactile click with every press. Designed to look like an industrial emergency stop button, but desk-friendly, more fun, and without the consequences of shutting down real equipment.

This model requires an MX-Style "clicky" keyboard switch that you will need to supply. The term “clicker” refers to a fidget toy with a keyboard switch inside. The “click” comes from using a “clicky” style switch. If you use a different style of switch, the model will not click. For example: Blue “Clicky” Switches on Amazon

Some features of the design:

• Includes two versions of the base, with and without the “Emergency Stop” text ring
• Keyboard switch snaps in easy and tight, so should not need any glue
• Button is keyed to the base so it can't spin, and thus cannot damage the keyboard switch inside
• The base features subtle vertical grooves along the sides, giving it a lightly textured, grippy feel in the hand, while also providing a natural place to hide the 3D print “seam” to keep the overall print looking cleaner
• The base has recessed circles in each corner, both for texture but also a convenient place to add some rubber feet to keep it firmly in place on your desk
• The base also fits perfectly into a GridFinity grid. Is this important? Probably not… but when I found my design was about the same size, I deliberately made it fit and added the narrower gridfinity-style base, as it adds some more interesting geometry to feel when holding it in your hand.

Printing Considerations
