🎲 Parametric Dice / Geometric Cube
This model can be used either as a classic six-sided dice or as a pure geometric cube.
By adjusting just a few parameters, the dice can be generated without edge rounding and without pips, making it suitable whenever a simple, clean cube is required.
The model scales reliably while preserving correct proportions, balanced geometry, and a standard dice layout when pips are enabled (opposite faces always sum to 7).

⚙️ Parameters
dice_size (mm)
Edge length of the cube.
Controls the overall size of the model.
- Geometric cube: any value
- Dice: any value
corner_radius (mm)
Edge and corner rounding radius.
- 0 → sharp edges (pure cube)
- > 0 → rounded edges
To create a geometric cube:
corner_radius = 0
pip_radius (mm)
Radius of each pip (dot).
Controls the visual size of the engraved dots.
- Only relevant when pips are enabled
- Has no effect when pips are disabled
pip_depth (mm)
Depth of the engraved pips.
Controls how deeply the dots are engraved into the surface.
- Has no effect when pips are disabled
pip_spacing (mm)
Spacing of pip positions from the center of each face.
Controls the visual balance and readability of the dots.
- Only relevant when pips are enabled
render_pips (true / false)
Enable or disable the pips entirely.
- true → classic dice
- false → blank cube
To create a geometric cube:
render_pips = false
center_model (true / false)
Center the model around the origin.
- true → model is centered (recommended)
- false → model starts in positive coordinates

🔢 Statistics
I did 100 test rolls with a sample 25mm die, and the values were within the statistically expected range without any number occurring noticeably more often than others. It behaves like a store-bought die.
⚙️Printing Settings
I recommend a fill level of at least 50% and an even fill pattern such as rectilinear or grid.
