This mount is designed to securely hold the Third Reality Vibration Sensor while allowing you to easily remove it when needed.

I wanted a way to attach the sensor to a surface for vibration monitoring without permanently sticking the sensor itself in place. With this design, you can mount the holder using glue or double-sided tape, and simply slide the sensor in and out whenever you need to access it (for example, to replace the batteries).

The fit is snug enough to hold the sensor firmly in place, so minor movement won’t cause it to shift or fall out.

How to Use

1. Test the fit first

   Before applying adhesive, check that the mounted position allows enough clearance to slide the sensor in and out easily for battery changes.

2. Apply adhesive

   Add two strips of double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the holder (or use your preferred glue).

3. Prepare the surface

   Clean the mounting surface to ensure good adhesion.

4. Mount the holder

   Peel the adhesive backing and press the holder firmly into place.

5. Insert the sensor

   Slide the vibration sensor into the mount until fully seated.
