A safety chamber flag for a standard AR-15 pattern rifle bolt head. The empty chamber indicator flag allows for safe carry of a magazine attached to the to the rifle, informing both the user and the environment the weapon is unloaded, safe and posing no danger.
Coupled together with a nylon cord and two keychain rings, the chamber flag can be attached to the forward assist plunger for loss prevention when chambering a round, and retaining the chamber flag for further use.

It is strongly advised to apply retention mechanisms and to have the unit tied to the rifle when storing and/or carrying.
Please note, it is highly recommended this unit is replaced with a proper Mek Porek for safety from a reputable distributor (e.g. SafeTech/Zahal).

- Installation -

Please follow the procedure of installation as described below, step by step:
1. Point the muzzle of your rifle at a 60 degree angle towards the sky, with your index finger outside the trigger guard and four fingers on the handgrip.
2. Rack the charging handle back three times to ensure the weapon is clear. Inspect the barrel's chamber throat through the ejection port to ensure the barrel chamber is empty.
3. Press on the bolt lock lever to lock the bolt at the rearmost position.
4. Return the charging handle back to it's default position, ensuring the latch is locked to the receiver.
5. Insert the Mek Porek into the chamber, applying tensions to the cord, holding it by the extrusion on the side.
6. Press on the bolt lock lever to release the bolt and lock onto the Mek Porek's rim.

Inspection:
With the Mek Porek installed, pull the charging handle and slightly retract the bolt group to ensure the Mek Porek is engaged by the extractor.
If the Mek Porek is properly engaged, it will move in unison with the bolt until ejected.

If the Mek Porek is not engaged, please repeat steps 3 through 6 and repeat the inspection again.
If the repeated inspection is failed, immediately discard the Mek Porek and DO NOT reuse.
