This free pack is part of a modular tabletop RPG scenery system, designed to make map assembly, modification, and reuse easier during gameplay sessions.

All pieces were designed for use with a physical grid, compatible with standard miniatures, allowing you to create dynamic environments quickly and intuitively.

Pack Contents

The pack consists of 5 pieces:

• 1 × 5x5 Board Tile

Modular board measuring 17.5 cm, featuring a 5x5 grid, where each square measures 32 mm. It serves as the main base for map assembly.

• 1 × Board Connector

A piece designed to connect multiple board tiles together, allowing you to create larger maps and move the entire setup on the table as a single map, while keeping the grid aligned.

• 1 × Straight Wall – Wood 1

Wall with a wood texture, featuring a smooth rail-style base that fits directly into the grid squares of the board tile.

• 1 × Corner Wall – Wood 1

Corner version of the wall, with the same texture and rail-based fitting system, ideal for creating corners, rooms, and corridors.

• 1 × Door – Wood 1

Wooden door with a rail-style base, allowing free placement on the grid without the need for glue.

Functionality and How It Works

The system uses a simple rail-based fitting mechanism, where walls and doors are placed directly onto the grid squares of the board tile.

This allows for:

• Fast environment setup

• Map changes during the session

• Modular creation of rooms, corridors, and entrances

• Full reuse of pieces across different scenarios

The board connector allows multiple tiles to be joined together, creating larger, stable maps that are easy to reposition on the table while maintaining grid consistency.

3D Printing Instructions

Recommended settings:

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Infill density: 10% to 20%

• Sparse infill pattern:

o Rectilinear or

o Adaptive cubic

For higher-detail prints, lower printing speeds are recommended.

However, it is also possible to use the maximum speed supported by your printer without affecting the functional quality of the pieces.

Supports

• Supports required:

✅ Yes, for the wall, corner, door, and connector pieces

❌Do not use supports when printing the grid board tile

Support settings:

• Supports enabled

• Type: normal (automatic)

• Overhang threshold angle: 20°

• Placement: build plate only

Important Notes

The printing specifications were defined based on the Creality K1 SE printer.

Results may vary depending on the printer model, filament, and calibration used.

Users are encouraged to test the settings and, if possible, provide feedback on the best configurations for their own printer.
