Customizable Flanged Hole Reducer Adapter Insert

Turn any oversized hole into a neat, smaller pass-through with this parametric flanged reducer insert.

It’s built in three functional zones:

Front flange: covers rough edges and gives a clean finished look
Press-in insert: centers the part and guides it into the existing hole
Retaining lip: adds a little “grab” to help the adapter stay seated once installed

Fully customizable fit

Every key dimension is adjustable in the Customizer / OpenSCAD parameters, so you can tune the fit for your exact project—panels, enclosures, printed parts, ducting, or any general pass-through for cables, tubing, screws, or hardware. Dial in the outer/inner diameters, heights, flange size, and lip geometry to match your material thickness and the amount of retention you want.

Printing tips

Print flange-side down for the best surface finish and strength.
For a press-fit, start with small tolerances and adjust based on your printer/material (PLA/PETG/ABS) and real hole accuracy—measure, tweak, reprint, done.
