Here we are again with an improvised print!
This time I designed a little gadget to wire up and attach to my desk to turn on the computer.
The power button on my case broke, so what better opportunity to keep studying 3D printing and modeling.
The model is relatively simple and after several tests I managed to create a decent print profile.
I printed it both in PLA basic and ABS and I found the strength of both to be good. You should pay attention to walls and infill, since it’s subject to quite a lot of stress when you use it the on/off switch.
Here a Preview
I used an on/off switch and a momentary push button that I already had, but the thickness is the same for both.
Simple pin connectors that I recovered from an old Raspberry Pi, but I’ll also include the link for those and for the 0.5 mm electrical cable.
Here are the link for all i used:

I already had most of this stuff, and I’m sure that if you look through old appliances, old PC power supply cables or similar, you’ll find you have these things at home too.
For convenience I soldered everything, but it could have been done the same way with quick connectors (I’m also learning how to solder).
Let me know what you think of this and check out my other pretty bad models.
