Parametric Drain Pipe Support Block

A fully customizable support block for securing horizontal drain pipes running along the ground. Designed for UK 68mm OD rainwater downpipes but works with any pipe from 40mm to 165mm diameter.

Features

• Parametric pipe cradle — adjustable diameter, wrap angle (90–180°), wall thickness, and clearance
• Slope support — set different start/end heights to create a drainage gradient
• Mounting holes — none, single central, or two holes with optional countersink
• Cable tie slots — wall slots with a recessed channel so the pipe sits flush on the cradle
• Text labelling — emboss text (e.g. "RAIN", "WASTE") on one or both sides
• Chamfered edges — adjustable chamfers on all base and cradle edges
• Hollow base & drainage holes — optional material saving and water drainage
• Full input validation — the model warns you before generating unprintable geometry

Print Settings

• Layer Height: 0.2–0.3mm
• Perimeters: 4 minimum (outdoor durability)
• Infill: 30–50%
• Supports: None required (designed for cradle-up printing)

Material Warning

MUST use UV-resistant filament (ASA, PETG, ABS, or PC). PLA will fail rapidly outdoors due to UV exposure and moisture.

Assembly Notes

• Use concrete screws or masonry anchors (stainless or galvanised recommended)
• For outdoor stability, the "Two Holes" mounting option is recommended
• Enter your nominal screw diameter — 0.4mm clearance is added automatically

Usage Warnings

• NOT recommended for gas pipes
• NOT recommended for structural components
