This is a fully customizable/parametric push pin design that allows you to use your own strong neodymium magnets of any size.

Whether you have tiny 4mm magnets or larger ones, this model will generate the perfect housing for them. It features a classic "Eiffel Tower" profile with a comfortable flat base and a smooth curved transition, designed to look and feel like a traditional high-quality push pin.

🔧 How to Customize

You can customize it directly here on MakerWorld using the "Customize" button, or download the .scad file to edit on your computer.

Key Parameters you can change:

• Magnet Diameter: Measure your magnet and add a small tolerance (default adds 0.2mm but 0.1mm should work just fine).
• Magnet Height: The thickness of your magnet.
• Base Height: Adjust how tall the bottom "flared" section is.
• Flat Base: Adjust how much of the bottom is vertical before the curve starts (for that classic look).

🖨️ Printing Settings

• Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS.
• Supports: None required. The geometry is designed to be self-supporting.
• Infill: 15-20% (or 100% if you want it to feel heavy).
• Walls: 2 or 3 walls.

✨ Assembly

1. Print the pin.
2. Add a drop of super glue (CA glue) into the hole.
3. Press your magnet in.
4. Stick it to your fridge, whiteboard, toolbox, or anything metal!
