Descrição
Line markers designed for overhead environments such as caves and wrecks. These markers provide critical information to divers following a distance line (guide line).
Available Marker Types
Line Arrows: Isosceles triangle-shaped directional markers. They provide both a visual and tactile reference to indicate the path to the closest exit.
Line Cookies: Circular, non-directional markers used to denote specific locations or circumstances, such as reference points, intersections, line gaps (jumps), or a diver's presence on the line.
- Line Squares (REM): Also known as Referencing Exit Markers, these rectangular hybrid tools feature a square area opposite the slots. While they serve as a personal navigation tool for the diver who placed them, they should be considered non-directional by all others.
Attachment & Security
Our markers are attached to the guideline by pushing the continuous line into opposing slots. To securely fasten the marker and prevent it from sliding or falling off, a wrap of the line must be added to the base of each slot as illustrated.
Safety Note: Protocols for placement and removal are a vital part of cave and wreck training. Because usage can differ between localities and teams, always follow local best practices. Incorrect usage or misinterpretation of markers can lead to dangerous confusion.
