Our daughter was sent home with some homework that required manipulation of counters to show how place value was maintained whilst multiplying multi-digit numbers by a single digit. They have felt disks to use at school, but we decided to print out a quick version for home. It's not fancy, but it did the job. Hope it is useful for others.
