Clean Before You Grease: Always wipe off the old, dirty lubricant with a lint-free cloth or paper towel before applying the new CAMP PTFE grease. Putting new grease over old "gunk" can trap abrasive particles.

Less is More: You don't need a thick layer. A thin, even coating in the grooves of the lead screw is much more effective than a "blob" that will just collect dust.

The Full Cycle: After applying the grease, manually move your build plate (or use the printer controls) to travel the full length of the Z-axis 2 or 3 times. This ensures the lubricant is distributed evenly inside the nut.
