This model is a custom‑designed, stepped storage block for three interchangeable knitting‑needle sets, inspired by the clean, functional look of a knife block. Each tier corresponds to a different needle‑tip length, giving you an intuitive and compact way to store and access your metal or wooden tips.

Tier heights:

• Mini: 5 cm / 2″
• Special: 10 cm / 4″
• Normal: 13 cm / 5″

The block includes space for 12 common US needle sizes, plus a rear cavity for storing circular cables.

Supported sizes:

• US: 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11
• Metric: 2.75, 3, 3.25, 3.5, 3.75, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 8 mm

This organizer was designed specifically for KnitPro / Knitter’s Pride Dreamz & Symfonie interchangeable sets, which use laminated wood tips. Hole diameters were modeled with 0.3 mm clearance above the needle diameter; however, I found that the smallest four sizes were a bit snug, so those were increased to 0.4 mm clearance for a smoother fit.

All whole‑number US sizes are embossed at the front. The half‑sizes are included in the hole layout but were too tight on space for clean labeling.

I purchased these knitting needle cable labels years ago and love them.
