Descrição
Hardware Required: You'll need four M2.5 screws (10mm or 12mm) and standard M6 rack screws.
Print Specifications: Material: PETG or ASA are best for the potentially hot rack environment, but PLA is fine for home use. The number of perimeters should be at least 3 or 4 for the flange's strength.
Compatibility: It's optimized for Raspberry Pi 5 (given the hole and port locations)
Front Bezel Upgrade: Now includes a version with an aesthetic front panel that conceals internal components and protects the NVMe Shield while keeping ports accessible.
Left Flange Version: Added a left-mounting flange model to allow for dual-Pi configurations or to fit different rack layouts.
Optimized Label Space: Text has been repositioned for a cleaner look.
PRO Model (with Bezel): Currently available with RIGHT flange only. Optimized for a clean look.
LITE Model (Open): Available with both RIGHT and LEFT flanges. Perfect for maximum airflow and quick modular setups.
Update:
Added compatibility for Raspberry Pi 3B/3B+
I've updated the project to include a version compatible with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B/B+.
Disclaimer: I do not personally own a Raspberry Pi 3, so this variant was designed based on official mechanical specifications.
If you print it, please leave a comment or a photo to confirm the fit!
This is a rack-mountable bracket specifically redesigned for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B/B+.
The design is based on the official mechanical specifications of the Raspberry Pi 3, ensuring a precise fit for the ports and mounting holes. Since I personally own a Raspberry Pi 5, this version is a technical adaptation based on CAD data. I would highly appreciate any feedback or photos from the community to confirm the final fit!
Key Features:
1U Rack Compatibility: Features a standard mounting flange with a 31.75 mm hole spacing and a 6.5 mm slot for M6 screws.
Integrated Standoffs: 4 mm tall pillars to ensure proper airflow beneath the PCB and avoid component interference.
Port Access: Full access to front-facing USB and Ethernet ports, plus a dedicated side cutout for Micro-USB power and the 3.5mm audio jack.
Secure Mounting: Designed for M2.5 screws (49x58 mm hole pattern).
Recommended Print Settings:
Material: PETG (recommended for heat resistance) or PLA.
Infill: 25-30% (Gyroid suggested for structural strength).
Walls: 3-4 perimeters for a solid mounting flange.
Supports: Minimal supports are suggested for the top bridges of the port cutouts.
