The Story
This has been a huge personal project of mine for the last year and a half and Im super excited to share this design with you all!
Its weird to feel that way over a box to hold cards, but the engineer in me wanted to keep improving and engineer a simple and smart solution.

The deck boxes supports 100 cards sleeved with a good amount of wiggle room for token cards. All parts for the deck box are 3D printed and do not require any additional hardware or glue.
Printing Instructions
- Suggested Plate: PEI Textured (Very reliable) or Cool Supertack (If you want a natural smooth top and bottom)
- Suggested Layer Height: 0.2 - Prints and looks great at this standard layer height. I wanted it to be easy and simple to print
- Suggested Nozzle Size: 0.4 - I wanted it to be printed universally across the board
- Support Settings:
- Type: Tree (Auto)
- Style: Default
- Build Plate Only: ✅
- Infill Settings: 10% - Gyriod (Honestly, whatever works for you)
- Wall Generator: Classic - if using Arachne, it can cause the top hinge holes to become very loose and malformed
Assembly instructions

- Insert button latch into the button hole
- Insert curved spring behind button latch
- Ive printed in multiple colors of PLA testing the spring out and different colors yield a different range of tightness. If you find that its very loose try scaling in the slicer just the spring to a non-uniform X size of 100.58% (34.85mm)
- Insert spring cover over the spring hole - This should snap in slightly and be held in by friction, but if you want a more secure hold you can tack in on the sides with some super glue
- Insert the top lid hinge holes onto the bottom hinge pegs
- This can be easily snapped on by inserting one side of the peg/hole first and snapping down the other side - This can be a tight snap but this ensures that the top lid will not come off easily
Tolerances
- Different types of filament may yield different results - Ive tested and printed this deck box loads of times on different types of filament but results may still vary (different settings, humidity, ventilation, etc…)
- I generally print using Bambu Lab printers and Bambu Lab filaments (PLA, PLA Matte, PETG)
- If you use other filament types (different materials) or vendors (different brand), the result may differ. Before posting issues about tolerances / model tightness / looseness, please consider the filament you used for the print
Feedback & Suggestions
I appreciate any and all feedback, and will do my best to make the necessary adjustments and fixes as soon as possible. Please leave any comments, questions and/or suggestions!
