Meet Cubby Cupid, a delightfully round, jolly, and unapologetically chubby take on the classic Cupid figurine. With his big belly, joyful grin, and tiny wings working overtime, Cubby Cupid is here to spread BIG love — one heart-tipped arrow at a time.

This isn’t your elegant, delicate Cupid.
This is full-figured, full-hearted, and full of charm.

Cubby Cupid believes love shouldn’t be subtle.
It should be bold, generous, and maybe a little extra.

Perfect for Valentine’s Day décor, shelf displays, desk buddies, or anywhere that could use a reminder that love comes in all shapes and sizes.

✨ PRINT PROFILES
• Two print profiles included
• Each profile includes the base and bow as separate parts for easier printing and better results
 

COLOR OPTIONS:

SINGLE-COLOR PROFILE
• Provided as a solid, single-piece model
• No gluing required
• Connectors are included to help him stand with the base
• The base is optional, though he may fall back due to the wings

4-COLOR AMS PROFILE
• Provided as a segmented model
• Designed to reduce multi-color printing waste
• Requires gluing to assemble after printing
• Model must be glued to the base for stability

🖨️ PRINTING NOTES

• Designed for easy FDM printing
• I do NOT recommend printing below 4 inches tall (≈102 mm)
 - Below this size, finer details and the bow may not print reliably
 - Scaling up is encouraged and works very well!
• When scaling up, scale ALL objects together at once
 - Individual parts do not all start at 100% scale
 - Scaling parts individually may cause fit and alignment issues
• Prints beautifully at 4–6 inches tall and larger

🧱 SUPPORTS & POST-PROCESSING

• Snug supports are recommended
• The included 3MF files contain the default support settings used for the final prints
• Use extra care when removing supports from:
 - The bow
 - Around his skirt
• Some of these areas may be fragile, especially at smaller scales
• Slow, patient support removal is your friend 🙂

📝 NOTES ON THE SEGMENTED MODEL

Please read if you plan to use the segmented / multi-color version:

• This is my first segmented model, created as an experiment to help reduce multi-color printing waste
• An AMS is still required for certain parts (notably the bow and head)
• The bow features an indentation in the handle that allows it to seat securely into Cubby Cupid’s hand
 - No glue is required to attach the bow
• Some light sanding may be needed to achieve a good fit between parts
• Depending on print tolerances, a small amount of filler may be helpful if you end up with larger gaps
• Connectors are not yet implemented between segmented parts, so alignment is by shape only — thanks for bearing with me while I improve future versions 🙂

Cubby Cupid approves scaling up — because BIG love deserves BIG prints 💘  But note when scaling, scale all plates together.  Current individual plate scale may not be set to 100%
